Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and film maker. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the competitive film industry can be attributed to her talents as an actor. Her career began as a model in the 70s, and quickly became one of the most well-known models. After completing her acting studies, Russo began her career as a model in Los Angeles. Russo's first film role was ABCs 1987 drama Sable, where she was Eden Kendell. She was Tom Berengers' love interest two years later in Major League, her debut movie. Rose Namajunas, one of the UFC's most popular female athletes, is an extremely successful athlete. She was an amateur fightr who participated in regional competitions before joining Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she became a member of UFC Ultimate Fighting Championships. Because of her success both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas is a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose played basketball as well as kickboxing when she was growing to maturity. Invicta Fighting Championships provided her with her professional debut at 18, when she defeated two competitors. Dana White noticed this and when she was in December 2014 aged 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight in the UFC. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges with a victory. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose was also able to make MMA history with this match because she became the first woman to compete in a title fight within any organization of note. Namajunas was able to record many more victories, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
